We must return to proclaiming powerfully and joyfully the event of Christ's death and Resurrection, heart of Christianity, principal fulcrum of our faith, powerful lever of our certainty, impetuous wind that sweeps away every fear and indecision, every doubt and human calculation. — B16

Twitter of Faith

Interesting Twitter project: Twitter of Faith. Summarise your beliefs in 140 characters or less. People’s submissions (haven’t done mine yet) can be found by searching for #TOF.

If you’re not on Twitter: post ‘em here. If you are on Twitter: post ‘em here as well.

Edit: so far I’ve come up with the following:

  • “That God was Man in Palestine / And lives today in Bread and Wine” (Betjeman) (link) (which prompted the response “Ugh”, and I can see his point – it’s a bit doggerel, but captures the centrality of the Incarnation and the sacraments, both of which are v. important for me).
  • What the Small Catechism says. (link) (Which some people might say is cheating.)
