Sorry, I can’t really engage in this critically. I’m not up enough on the gender issues of theology to do it justice. I’ll give you my first impressions. I want God to hate me like a man does…intensely, but with a clear cut knowledge of where my offenses lay, but I want God to forgive me like a mother would…still calls me her son no matter what my offenses are.
