A church needs a pastor. But if he sees himself as a CEO instead of a shepherd, he’s got it all wrong. If his vision for the church is something besides preaching the Gospel and administering the sacraments, he needs to do something else.
Church should not be a place for people who can’t make an honest living to pretend they’re bigwig business executives.
