A member of Covenant Life Church (CLC), which has historically been SGM’s flagship church, posted this update letter (dated today) [EDIT 24 February -- official version here] to one of the SGM “exile” blogs.  I think it’s very, very important to note, for the overall blogosphere “record,” that just because our denomination’s president was reinstated in January, it doesn’t mean that the denomination’s overall problems are now fixed and that we’re now once again ready to hold ourselves as a shining ecclesial example to the larger YRR world.

On a totally non-SGM related matter (because I think I’m starting to become a one-trick pony) — FT, have you read any William Cavanaugh?  If so, what are your thoughts?
